Dual V V-124A

Really pleased with this carpet washer. Have borrowed cheaper Vax carpet washers in the past, and were not very impressed with the cleaner or results, but the V-124A Dual V we have recently purchased, although more expensive does a great job and well worth the extra money. We tried it on a heavily soiled and stained carpet which came up really clean. It is a heavier more sturdy machine, but hopefully will last longer!

Brilliant did a really good job on the two seperate carpets I have used it on.
Brought the colour back and removed a lot of dirt and debris.
Looking forward to having another go soon to get a really good clean carpet in the most heavily used area - entrance way to kitchen and lounge from the front door.

this is a brilliant carpet cleaner, one of the most powerful i have ever used. it literally scrubs the carpet clean, sucks as much wet out of the carpet so is left to dry without any smell.much better then any rug doctor. Also heaps cheaper if you buy it at amazon and has a 6 year guarantee. You cant go wrong with this product.

comprehensive instructions which are easy to read and make the vax easy to use and the vax did a first class job of cleaning my carpets .

This is a superb product and the best carpet cleaner we have had giving excellent results. Its amazing how the carpet feels only lightly damp after use, and after 2 or 3 hours is mostly dry. The tools for the stairs work equally well and are also good for working on stubborn marks at carpet edges.

Very impressed. Instruction booklet clear, easy to fill/empty containers, no problems removing brushes for cleaning. Completely satisfied with this carpet cleaner - the carpets are clean and stains gone.

Great product. Have had stains on my dining room carpet for 2 years as a result of grandchildren spilling orange juice and also my husband taking out a full cartridge of black ink from my printer and it exploding all over my cream carpet and I have tried removing the stains will all types of cleaning products and I have also tried it with my kirby but nothing has touched it until I used the Vax the staines have not completely come out but I will try again after xmas as I am sure there will be more staines to come but I am sure that a second wash will almost remove the rest. Great product and would have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family. In fact I am now doing a favour for a friend and vaxing her carpets - what a difference it has made.

Awesome, we were just about to replace the Bathroom Carpet (young child, bad accident), when I thought I would give this machine a try, after trying everything else. Wow, we have a 'new' carpet! Also made all our Holiday Cottage Rugs look like new, already paid for itself.

Excellent results on short pile pale grey carpet. Fairly noisy, and fairly heavy machine.

Uses quite a lot of cleaning solution. Had some leakage using the hand tool attachment.. its important to push the connector for the solution pipe in firmly.

Having finished with the hand tool attachment its also easy to overlook the proper closing of the clear plastic lid on the front of the machine... so leading to a loss of suction.

Can't see many people bothering to keep the attachment hose (when not in use) on the back of the machine except for storage.

Overall very pleased with machine performance.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. No hassle cleaning! It's easy assemble means your cleaning your carpets within a minute from plugging it in. I was amazed at the amount of dirty water there was, carpets look and feel clean. I have a long pile carpet and its worth the effort going over it a few times to suck the water out my carpets were completely dry after two hours. Cleaning the machine afterwards is so easy too all the parts just clip on/ off, it takes about five minutes to rinse the brushes and cylinder ready for the next use. I can't recommend this product enough it is brilliant! If you like clean carpets and want to prolong the life of the ones you already have then this is the machine you need. It's worth every penny.

Brilliant and easy to use, well after my nine year old grandson told me to switch the brushed on it was! Did an excellent job. It is noisy but worth it for the quality of the work it does. Don't mount the tools on the unit itself - although the sytem is OK for mounting it can be a little awkward when they are not needed. The edge brush works really well.

So impressed by this machine, which I have had a couple of months now. I moved to a house six years old and dont think the previous oner used the vacuum much! I was going to get the professionals in but was recommended to purchase this machine by a work colleague who had one. So glad I did because I have been able to clean the carpets room by room at my own pace. Almost 63, living alone in a 5 bedroomed house 3-storey house with cream carpets throughout, I followed the instructions and found it simple to use. A bit heavy to lift up the stairs but really easy to push about and the carpets look so clean. It was a little harder to use the accessory and clean the stairs but then I have Carpal Tunnel syndrome in both hands and find it hard to grip anyway.There is a switch to turn off the brushes when using the hose and I did this but the machine leaked water. Maybe I hadnt connected the hose attachment properly. It wasnt really a problem as I just sucked up the excess water. You get a good feeling when you tip out black gungy water and any carpet pile left in the container is as clean as new. Dont hesitate to buy this machine. You wont regret it. My daughter borrowed it to try and remove stains on her ivory lounge carpet caused by her toddler's spills when learning to feed herself and the difference it made was amazing.She'd probably buy one herself but I only live 2 minutes round the corner so she can use mine. Love the new solution too.

Was expecting the carpet cleaning to be a chore as always but have thoroughly enjoyed using the Dual V. Its the first time I've ever had the same experience as shown in adverts where you can see the clean stripe on the carpet! Although it's fairly heavy it is good and easily directed, and the water/detergent reservoirs are the right ratio so that you refill them at about the same time. I didn't find that it was heavy on detergent which was what I'd read on other websites, but I did run out of water a couple of times before I noticed and I guess that at that point you start using more detergent. I like the way it clips together and I like the way that it hasn't so far dripped dirty water when emptying the dirty reservoir the way my previous Vax did. I really like this product, thank you. If I had to change anything I would add an obvious sturdy carrying handle somehow.
Am rather looking forward to seeing what it gets out of the hall carpet!

Very easy to use and brings up an amazing amount of dirt. Have only cleaned one room so far but in view of the results will be doing the rest of the house shortly
