There is a burning smell coming from my machine?

The drive belt may have snapped or the brushbar may be jammed. Refer to the user guide appropriate to your machine for instructions on how to check and replace. Alternatively click here and watch a video tutorial for step-by-step instructions on how to replace your drive belt.

Why do my drive belts break?

In general drive belts break as a fail safe to prevent damage to the machine usually as a result of the brushbar being jammed.
A worn or damaged brush bar can subject the drive belt to undue resistance therefore causing premature failure.

The filter in my carpet washer has disintegrated, how long should they last?

The float chamber filter has a lifespan of between 3-6 months however with careful maintenance this can be prolonged. We recommend that after every use the filter is removed from the dirty water tank, washed in clean water and left to dry. The filter should not be returned to the dirty water tank until both the filter and tank are dry.

My Carpet Washer is making a high-pitched noise?

There are a couple of reasons for why this may have happened:
1) The dirty water tank may be full, and the float of has been activated. Empty the dirty water tank and continue use.
2) Check that the float chamber filter is in place and the float has not become trapped.

Should I use boiling water in my carpet washer?

No, boiling water will distort the clean water tank on your machine. We recommend that the water used is no more than (40 degrees) or tap water warm.

How much cleaning solution should I use in my carpet washer?

We recommend that 1 capful of AAA cleaning solution is used per litre of water.

My carpet washer water is dirty every time I use it.

After use, remove filter and rinse thoroughly ensuring removal of all debris and replace.
Rinse soiled water container, and allow to dry thoroughly before replacing to prevent a build up of mildew. Replace filter when required.
