Bought this as an alternative to a Dyson (too expensive) and as I was sick of my old bagless cleaner loosing suction and my having to clean the filter. The 6 year guarantee also influenced me when buying.

Have use the cleaner a couple of time and I am very impressed so far. I like the fact there is a very long cord and hose so you can clean a whole floor of your home without unplugging the cleaner. The dust collection bin is easy to empty, just one click of a lever and the whole unit easily follows you along.

Overall an impressive machine which does exactly what it says on the box !!

A reasonably priced vacuum machine. Light to move from downstairs to upstairs. Picks up dirt very well.
Not easy to store away.

Love it at the moment, small, compact and capable of any job. Hope its reliability is as good.

I've had the product for a couple of weeks and used it 4 or 5 times on different surfaces (laminate, tile, short pile carpet and long pile rugs) and also the walls and ceilings. Suction is generally good, build quality is excellent (so far) it feels very sturdy and it's a lot quieter than expected. Emptying the container is simple enough although it took me a couple tries to work out how to secure the clip back onto the main unit. The hose is a good length but it does tend to stick out when trying to store.

I have only used my new Vax once but it has already made a good impression.
Suction is strong, Hose is long,
Weight to carry is manageable,
Capacity to fill is formidable,

The look is futuristic,
cleans the house fantastic,

Overall the performance is nice,
and compared to Dyson its half-price!

I've been using my new Vax Air for about 3 weeks now in my new home and up to now I'm really quite impressed with it. Ease of use, power and nice long lead all go towards a general opinion that this is a good product - time will tell! but then there is also a good long guarantee if there is a problem.

Really pleased with the product, very light weight and excellent at cleaning, really like the fact that you can take the vacumn apart and clean all parts yourself.

Its working fine at the moment, and i'm very pleased with it!

this hoover is brilliant. it has a very strong suction and sucks easily. it isn't heavy and is easy to manouvere around furniture. all the tools are useful and store easily on the body. It is simple to empty. press a button and the lead disappears rapidly into the body. I simply cannot praise this hoover enough. i would highly recommend and buy another.

i like my new vax a lot, the amount of suction is great and my carpets look as if they have had a shapoo.
i like the size too !! so easy to store, and no horrible dust bags.
i only have one dislike !! and that is the chrome tube
it could have been a little longer in lenth, i find it makes my back ache more than my old vax does,
other than that it's great, and reasonably priced too.

really enjoying my new hoover. its brilliant the little filter that filters rubbish its excellent. the swivel wheel is great i would definitely recommend this hoover. my friends are already becoming green with envy, they love it too.

The suction is much better than my old machine.Its a little heavier than I imagined but i can deal with that,easy to manipulate and gets under the bed which is one of the hard spots for me. All in all i am very happy with my purchase.

Very happy with my new Vax apart from the very long flexible hose which i am sure is useful if you live in a big house but i don't! No problems with anything else it seems lovely. This replaces my upright Vax which had a very useful brush with it that this one doesn't have. It had long bristles as opposed to the one that comes with this new one which has very short bristles. I'm sure the old brush would have fitted this one but unfortunately i have given the old one to a friend and she is loving it!

Really good - I dare not use it if the cat is in the same room, otherwise he may disappear up the nozzle. Same goes for my Mother! It is also very nifty for things like stairs and we are beginning to see corners that we never did before buying the Vax.

Definitely a good buy, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant Vacuum. Been wanting to move to a cylinder from my upright. I have been dithering for ages as I couldn't afford a Dyson, which my old upright is. Finally I decided on this vax becauce it is a cyclone vacuum and I like the features PLUS the price was almost half the Dyson "equivelant". When I turned it on I couldn't believe the suction. Its far better than my old vacuum.

superb i have 2dogs and it cleaned the carpet in no time much quicker than my other cleaners

I have found this to be a lightweight and fairly compact machine but with a large capacity for dust! It manoevres easily around the home. It's suction is constant and very good.

had a dyson for years, this beats it hands down, highley recomended.

So far so good it seems to be very effecient at picking up and the tools are handy being on the tube itself. Time will tell if it is better thatn our previous vacuum which was an LG. It is certainly better that the Dyson we had which had to be thrown away after 2 years hopefully this one will last past its warrenty time.

Not much more to say at the present but I hope it continues to give us good service and live up to your good name

Very pleased with the vacuum. Have only used uprights before, and a bit apprehensive about using cylinder, however other reviews praised the above highly.so thought would give it a chance. The six year gaurantee gave me extra reassurance in trying it out. Vacuum arrived, easy to put together, and so easy to use. Very light for me to carry around, particularly up the stairs. My stairs are not straight up, they have corners, so i need to carry the vacuum with me, to protect the paint work. Previoulsy it was a real work up to vacuum my whole house with previous upright cleaners, however I can clean my whole house within about an hour and half, and actually enjoy doing it! My only negative comment would be the storage of it, as the hose is so lng and nowhere to wind it up. Would definitely recommend it, and have done so, I also take it to my parents house to vacuum there.

Very efficient, very effective, no dirt missed. BUT, heavy, bulky and cumbersome. Why can't you guys put this efficiency into a package like my old Vax Powerflex upright. Now that would be unbeatable!! How about it??!!

Very good, constant suction as promised. An amazing amount of dirt came out of carpet, even though I had only vacuumed around two days before.

I have found that the filter gets blocked very easily. When it is unblocked it picks up very well.

We had recently purchased the Vax Carpet Cleaner and found it even beyond our expectations, so when we needed a new Vacume we immiediately thought of a Vax. Just tried it today and once again we are very satisfied indeed. Cleaning it out appears a little difficult at first, but once we have done this a few times, I'm sure it will seem so easy. With the results it all worthwhile.

Very impressive. The suction was good and the attachments really useful. Good value for money.

It's great! We have alot of pets and it has picked up hair from my carpets that has been there for quite a while! Also workd well on hard floors, great on the stairs, havn't used all the attachments yet but very pleased so far.

So far so good. Only time will tell if the Vax work well.

We have a mixture of carpeted and laminated floors, the floors had been vacuumed very recently but I was impressed at the amount of fluff and dirt the Vax managed to collect, I was then able to see how easy a job emptying the dirt container was.

The machine although being quite light feels solid and well engineered, the power cord is quite generous and zips away to store within the machine. I also like the idea of the filter cleaning instructions being on the machine as by the time you decide the filters could do with cleaning the user guide will have been put away somewhere in a safe place.

My overall impression of the cleaner is that it performs very well and for peace of mind the excellent six year guarantee that comes with the cleaner will take some beating.
