Very pleased with this - it is even lighter and smaller than expected but without any loss of performance. Worrying how much more dust and dirt it picks up - my previous vacuum cleaner must have been doing only half a job! The pile on carpets is fluffing up nicely too. The best bit is it really does clean up to the skirting boards and fits under a lot of furniture with ease of movement. The downside? An extra metre of cord would have been useful and you really do need an extension hose for anything more than the stairs so including it in the pack would've been great instead of having to order it separately. I would not have minded paying a bit more for it to be part of the deal.
All in all a good piece of kit.

does the job so well we are forever emptying the cylinder.really does remove labrador hair and anything else that gets in the way.The only down side is the hose..use it and you keep pulling the machine over.The hose connection should be a lot lower then this would not happen

Nice and light, easy to use , pipe for attachments could do with being longer ,however attachments fit and work well and take up little storage space. Easy emptying of collection bin and plenty of suction.

I am very pleased with this machine, it is so much lighter than my Dyson and is very powerfull despite its small size.Having a large black dog it copes very well with the fur on the carpets.The lead isnt as long as my dyson but this wouldnt put me off recommending it to others.The turbo brush is excellent at getting deep down clean.I have no regrets in buying this item.

Fantastic upright cleaner. Back problems means that I had to ask someone to carry my old cleaner up/downstairs for me. The lightness of this new cleaner allows me to do this for myself. Also having a large hairy dog, we needed something that could cope and this cleaner is certainly the best we have had. We've had countless different cleaners over the years but the Vax is certainly the best. I recently purchased the extension hose which has given me more flexibility. All in all an excellent product.

Having purchased Dysons before i was dubious as to whether the Vax would be comparable,i was extremely pleased to find it actually picked up more pet hair after i used the Dyson first.I bought the Vax as i live in a 3 storey house and find it difficult to lug the other vac up and down,the only down side are tool storage-they fall off the back!and the hose could be longer as it is on other models. I would definitely recommend the Vax Air Pet.

I am absolutely delighted with My New VAX,
Its lovely and light, quite a nice size for the small Bungalow live in ! and does the job Brilliantly picking all the dogs hair up that my two German Shepherd dogs keep shedding!

One hiccup when I first used, it caught a piece of fringe from a mat and it stopped but soon found out why! when I rang the very nice man on the help line All Sorted in a min ! Brilliant! Thank you.

having previously owned a Dyson, I was very reluctant to go for an alternative make, but on reflection I am more than happy happy with my purchase, with excellent power, light to handle and easy to maneuver, it has more than matched my old cleaner for half the price, the only improvement I can suggest is a longer power cable and a few more feet on the suction hose and it would be the perfect unit

Fantastic machine as are all Vax products. Great for pet hairs, used it over the past two weeks and still looking for the dog as the suction is so powerful!

Must be the best on the market and would recommend to anyone who was looking to buy and was worried that being so small it didn't have the power because it has it all - lightness, power, ease of use and quality build.

yes i am very pleased with this product it is very light and picks up dog hairs great.if their is a glick it is that the container is not very big and needs emptying quite often

Excellent product after a week's use. Saying this, we have had many pet vacuums and they deteriorate with time, hopefully this Vax will not do this. The only one issue I can find is that the device is a little awkward when cleaning stairs.

Very good lightweight machine, fantastic at normal cleaning, I was amazed at the dirt it sucked/brushed out of the carpets!So in general very good. Just three points worth mentioning, the standard hose is not not long, so go for the extra long version if you use the hose attachment a lot for household cleaning. Second point to the designers, please on the next version can it be possible to fix the small cleaning brush directly onto the hose & not just the hard plastic long handle.Third point, again to the designers - the small plastic clip on the hose, please make this tougher as mine has popped out of its retaining holes twice as it can get caught on the body of the machine as you operate the cleaner if is in the wrong place.
Apart from those small points, it really is a good cleaner.

Love this machine, does exactly what i need it to do. its very powerful but really light to carry so stairs are no problem. The only niggle is the way the hose is bracketed to the machine when i want to use the tools it is very restrictive.

Having only very recently purchased this product, I have only used it three times so far. My initial thoughts are, wow this is great, so light and easy to use, the suction combined with the brush action for carpets is amazing, it really made my carpets look sparkling and cleared the hairs from my short-haired black cat. It was very scary actually seeing the amount of dust and debris it had collected.

The only incredibly minor criticism I would make is, that perhaps it could be modified so that the amount of heat this unit generates and blows up into your face, is lessened or diverted in another direction.

Very pleased with product, excellent for picking up pet hair & beats the carpet pile well leaving it looking clean & is very light & easy to handle. We have a black rug with a thick pile & it has never looked so clean. Would highly recommend to anyone considering buying a new vacuum cleaner, many thanks.

My wife has M.S and the large VAX we had she could not push around as it was to heavy.So I do not have to do any vacuuming, I bought her the light weight AIR and this one is perfect, Powerful and light. I was only joking I do, a little vacuuming once every leap year.LOL. Its a great machine and well worth the money.

very lightweight, easy to store away. Suction very strong and pet tool brilliant at getting my cats hair off the sofa! Only negative I can think of is that the hose does not come away from the vacuum body completely which can make using the hose awkward sometimes.

I love it !! Light and powerful, makes vacuuming a pleasure and not a chore. One complaint ............... I wish the hose was longer. I can't get halfway up the stairs, so have to take the whole machine with me which is not ideal.

Seems to be quite powerful ,but still newish. very light compared to dyson.
only one minor fault is when using hose,on removing from main boby to use with tools the hose is clipped in low to floor and restricts the use of it and the hose can kink easily,which in time will damage hose.

Absolutely brilliant, I bought it for my wife who has just had a hip replacement, it is great for the dog hairs but light enough for her to handle

Suction is excellent and it is so manoeverable! The head will work under sofas and beds so you don't need the hose every time. The extended hose is brilliant for long stairways. The length of cable is also very good, although while it is new and not so pliable, there does seem too much cable for the holders and it tends to fall off too readily. I think this will right itself when there has been more use and the cable is not so stiff.

It is very light in comparison with a Dyson. It is also much less bulky, making storage much easier. It will pick bits up much nearer the skirting boards than a Dyson will and is excellent on hard floors.

The dust cylinder holds enough to do the whole house in one go and emptying it is simple. The accessibility of the brush makes it simple to keep the area free of hairs and other debris.

All in all an excellent machine!

The vac is good it is quieter than our previous model and the suction is very good,the only comment i would make is the attachments are difficult to slide and the brush attachment would be better if it could be stored on the machine.

This is the first time we have bought a vax vacuum cleaner.and i would recommend this to anyone.We have always bought a Hoover model,but the vax is far superior also alot cheaper.All in all a first class vacuum cleaner also great for pet hair.

Having used your competitors vacuums in the past, I find the VAX a far superior product. The VAX is a small and lightweight machine, but does not lose any of the power or performance of any other vacuum, that I have used. Keep improving your products and innovating.

Thrilled with the performance and ease of use, simple to maintain. Only gripe is a lack of on board tool storage, the nozzle and brush fall off too easily and there is no storage for the turbo tool. A small price to pay for outstanding pick up and portability.

We purchased our first VAX upright cleaner about 18 months ago and on a visit to Costco two weeks ago we purchased our second one. Our decision was based on the wonderful experience we have had with the first; incidently, I should have mentioned that because of our age(my wife and I are both in our 80s)we decided on our second VAX so that we could keep one upstairs and one downstairs.
When we first used our first VAX it was incredibly easy, being light in weight, easy to manouvre, it reaches areas that other cleaners we had couldn't reach. It easy to empty, to clean and to store. We have never regretted our decision. The new one has all of the qualities of the first but it is slightly better in asmuch that it seems easier to push. They are a joy to use. Thank you.

We had a pet vac previously, but until we had a puppy we did not realise it was not doing the job it was intended for. The Vax pet vac is the best one we have ever had, it is so lightweight but still does an excellent job. Our carpets have all sprung back to life. We would recommend this product to any one even non pet owners!

This Mach Air Pet was bought to replace a Hoover, having also previously owned a Dyson I spent some time researching and was very impressed by the reviews.

I revacuumed a couple of days after using my old machine, and was surprised how much my old machine missed, it has even revived the carpet pile.

This model comes complete with a useful turbo tool for difficult to reach areas, it has revived the carpet pile and you can switch off the brush bar when moving to hard floors.

It has had a lot of thought put into the design, and performance wise its as good if not better than a Dyson. The added bonus of a six year guarantee means you cannot go wrong!

I can truely say this is an excellent all round product! I have purchased one for my mother and one for myself and they are really powerful and yet very light. With excellent features like a beater brush stop button for hard floors and the fact it stops turning automaticaly when stood up cannot be faulted. The unit is so light that we have gone from using a well advertised rechargeable carpet sweeper of top end spec on a daily basis and the , again, high spec high cost vacumn cleaner once or twice a week, to now using this unit as the daily cleaner, it is so simple, light and user friendly. I feel that the build quality is also of a higher standard than that of some similar looking and specified cleaners aimed at the same market. To give a generalised opinion, I would say "buy it, you won't go far wrong!" Tony.

Machine very light to use and powerfull to pick up dog hairs

Good little machine. Really ;light but powerful and gets into corners and cleans right up to the edge. Only problem is the short hose, luckily I don't have any stairs but if I did I would be really annoyed at the hose length.

I think the vacuum is fantastic; it has excellent suction on carpets and wooden floors, the only disadvantage is that the lead needs to be longer.

Compared to any other vacuum I've had this is by far the best at picking up pet hairs - I used to spend 10mins in each room scrubbing furiously at the carpet ending with mediocre results and a need for a shower...with the mach air pet i feel as though i glide glamorously round the house in a fraction of the time & effort with barely a hair left. Reviews i read before i bought suggested it was tricky to empty - i haven't found this. It's similar to my old Dyson (but better). The only negatives are that the hose could be a bit longer - it's irritating that it's fixed at the bottom of the cleaner as it sometimes makes it tip over (the suction's so strong you need both hands to hold the hose). Also it would be good if the turbo tool could fix on somewhere.

Very good but one bad design aspect is having to unclip hose at the bottom end in order to connect to the wand;the corregated hose then has to be pulled thru a bracket and bent thru 90 degs, to connect to the wand, which is awkward and puts a lot of stress on the hose.

I find this product to be excellent. It is very lightweight bit extremely powerful. The hose extends right to the top of the stairs and the electric cable is a good length, much better than the previous vax I had. Would recommend to anyone.

Brilliant lightweight vac. I've just undergone major abdominal surgery and this hoover was the answer to my prayers. Exceptionally powerful suction and so easy to keep clean even my husband loves using it. Only negative points are lead to short, instruments do not stay clipped to back and unfortunately the only design flaw I can tell is the extension tube comes from the bottom of the hoover and could do with coming from the top. However the plusses certainly outweigh the negatives.

Amazingly light-weight and easy to use. Emptying the machine is also very straight-forward. If I have any quibble, it would be that a longer hose would be useful.

I am very pleased with the overall performance of the vax it is very light to carry around. If I was making one comment it would be that I find the tools a little difficult to use, maybe I just haven't got to grips with it yet.

I love my new Vax Pet machine, its awesome. From the minute I started using it the lightweight of the machine was a glorious relief from the heavy dyson I have been pushing round the house for the last 10 years.

The machine picks up so well - i thought my carpets were clean until I used the Vax!!, the amount of stuff it picked up was truly amazing. I love the way you can change it from carpet to hard floors with just the push of a button. All in all I would give the Vax 8 out of 10, the reasons for not a full 10 out of 10 is just a couple of niggles.

The negatives - the actual flex is very short and the downside of this is you can only do one small room at a time before having to unplug, not a great hardship. but a little annoying when you are in full swing of cleaning. The other problem is the hose for the stairs is very short, yes you can buy an extension, but it would be much better if it had a hose that actually reached the full height of the stairs initially.

The advantages - Very Light and very Compact, Handle thats easy to adjust to suit your height, so easy to empty the filter as well and suction and power for a small machine is awesome.

But apart from the negs - I really do love the machine, hopefully it will last as long if not longer than my old Dyson - Thanks Vax for making a great little machine :-)

After seeing one in operation at a relatives house,I was so impressed I ordered one straight away. When mine arrived I was more than impressed on its first usage, I was amazed. I had vacuumed the previous day with my (not so) old machine but seeing the amount of dirt that was so quickly being removed, it appeared as though my carpet had never been vacuumed before. Every day it still is so impressive, vacuuming out the dirt and pulling the carpet pile up making it looking almost like new.

This product is excellent & terrific value for money. It has been the best upright vacuum cleaner I have owned. It has incredible suction power & is very light weight with good manoevurability, especially for in those hard to reach places & when cleaning the stairs. I cannot recommend this product enough.

The cleaner is ideal for what we require, the only downside is the connection for the attachments seems very restrictive

Mac Air pet review, vacuum cleaner. This is the best vacuum cleaner I have owned, beating my old Dyson DC08 Animal (which broke down after 2 years), a Henry and a Morphy Richards pet. What I love about this vacuum cleaner is its simplicity. One button at the top of the machine changes between floor types, i.e. wooden and carpet. No more bending to the bottom of our old vacuum cleaner and struggling to change floor types between rooms. The handle can be adjusted for multiple heights with ease. The whole machine is so light weight that even my 3 year old can happily manoeuvre it around!!

The cord storage is deep enough to hold the entire lead and plug very securely. For me the design is great and because of the wide front bristle it manages to pick up debris at the edges of walls and furniture where my previous vacuum cleaners would not pick up.

Also the compact size means it can go further under furniture without having to swap to the other accessories. It comes with clear and concise instructions that are easy to follow. It picks up all of the animal hair (cat, guinea pigs) really well. The suction is very strong, however unlike other vacuum cleaners this strong suction is not a monster, and does not eat up everything: wires, rugs etc. If something is stuck in the front bristles, a red button flashes to tell you it has happened and the bristles then automatically stop rotating, a simple push of a button resets. The design allows easy cleaning and emptying and I also like the reusable filters.

The only minor issues are that when removing the power cord from the cord storage, this often knocks off the hose accessories which are stored at the back. It doesn�t always pick up larger items of dirt, eg. guinea pig waste; it pushes it around instead of picking it up. I can however use the hose and attachments here very quickly.

Unfortunately, I now have no excuse; vacuuming my house is so quick and easy!

I bought my Vax Mach Air Pet because I suffer from back pain and found my old cleaner difficult to use. I am very pleased with my new Vax. It's very light, has good suction, and because it is reasonably quiet it does not frighten my dog.Two words. Love it

I neede a vac that was light yet efficient as I have athritis and found other vacs to be rather heavy. I am delighted with my new vax it is light but has great suction - just what I needed

Excellent cleaner, light easy to use and fantastic cleaning ability. My only gripe would be the hose would benefit from not being fixed via a clip at the bottom of the cleaner. This would make the hose easier to extract/remove for use, with the added benefit of making it longer. This would not put me off recommending this cleaner to someone else though!

I love my new vax - I haven't had one before, as always had dysons or henry the hoover (I still like and use the Henry too). I find that my vax cleans much better than a dyson and as mine isn't that big and heavy, I use it to hoover my stairs, which now takes me less than 5 mins! It takes less room to store and am more than happy with it! I hate housework, but my new vax certainly cuts down the time I have to spend doing now. I would and have defo recommend to other people. If I had to pick a fault, I would prefer the electric lead to be slightly longer.

Very light powerful machine which meets all our needs

Really great vacuum cleaner, although wish the hose was longer. Very efficient on my carpets which look like new again, especially good brushes clear up black fluff on cream carpet!! Very lightweight, can vacuum whole house in about an hour.

Was delighted to see the quantity of dust etc sucked up on first use (although slightly appalled at what previous hoover had left behind). Some of the clips and fixings seem a bit flimsy but no problems so far.

One detail I am delighted with is the weight of the product. Having a long-term serious back problem hoovering has always been incredibly painful, lifting the hoover much worse. This product is a vast improvement on those previously used.

I actually purchased a Dyson DC30 at the same time. I prefer the Vax its a lot lighter and easier to use. I would like a slighty longer cable is my only adverse comment.

The product is superb. It is lightweight and very easy to manoeuvre, making it very good for those with back problems. I have lower back problems which make using vacuum cleaners in general very difficult due to the angle at which one has to bend while cleaning and the weight of the appliances. I chose this particular product in the hope that it's lighter weight would make it possible for me to clean without too much pain or discomfort and it has definitely made cleaning an easier experience for me.

The cleaner is also very easy to empty, again something important as I have asthma so need to be able to empty the cylinder without spreading too much dust around.

The only negative is that the nozzle attachment (crevice tool)is a little flimsy and easy to break (the neck which fits onto the extension tube has split)but I appreciate that the tools have probably been made this way to keep the weight of the product light. Perhaps it may be possible to make the tool from more durable lightweight material?

I have one suggestion, that the handle height adjuster be made capable of extending the height of the handle even further. This would benefit back pain sufferers as they would not need to bend so far forward to operate the cleaner. Also it would benefit taller people (my husband is 6ft 3ins and has to bend a great deal with all such cleaners).

I would also like to comment on the excellent service provided by the company's sales department. I ordered the product direct via telephone. The person dealing with me was very helpful and courteous and the product was delivered within a few days, as advised.

Overall, I would rate the product as 9 out of 10, an excellent purchase.

I hope this is of assistance and would be interested to hear whether the above suggestions may be possible to implement in the company's future cleaning products.

Generally, we have been very pleased with it's performance. The suction right-up to the edges of skirting boards is very impressive and makes for a very effective cleaner. However, a couple of things have irritated me. One is that the on-board tools don't attach reliably to the machine meaning that they regularly drop-off, such that we have taken to leaving them off which rather defeats the object. Secondly, neither the flexible hose nor the power lead are long enough for normal usage. This results in a) the machine having to be carried and balanced mid-stairs when cleaning between floors and b) frequently have to use a different power socket for every room being cleaned (with our last cleaner we could use one socket per floor in the house).

Having said that, these points do not outweigh the benefits that we have experienced from a very easy to handle, effective cleaner.

I am pleased with my new VAX machine. I find it very light and very powerful considering how small it is and easy to manuvre and store. The only thing I am not very impressed with the attachment tools they are not very good to use.

Its wonderful, our old hovers could never do what yours does. Amazing how much extra it picks up, the carpets look new and the upholstery brush saves on the throws on the chairs and settee. We have 2 dogs and five cats so you can imagine the hair. The bag less design also is a great improvement to the hovers with bags as all you have to do is click one button to remove the cylinder and one click to empty the cylinder into the bin with no fuss and no mess. I will highly recommend this type of vacuum cleaner to other people, oh and by the way this is the oldest son writing this as mother hasn't had a chance to use it yet, not that she is complaining.

Good machine, light weight only down fall flex not long enough to do the stairs, worth the money yes.

I was looking for a lightweight cleaner to use because , i have a back problem at the moment. I researched all of the vacuum cleaners on the internet and read as many reviews as i could. I also have a miele vacuum which of course i cannot fault so i was wary of buying a different manufacturer. The vacuum that kept leaping from the pages as the vax U91 MA P Air pet. It was a little more expensive than i originally wanted to pay, but i found a really good deal at Argos and went ahead and purchased it. I have to say that i am very pleased with the vacuum, it is lightweight, i can carry it about, it cleans beautifully, it manouvers very well and is easy to empty and put together.. However one little niggle that i have is that the tools hose is not long enough, and is a bit fiddly to use, however with practice its ok. A little more research into the tools hose would be good. However overall i find this vacuum superb and i am so glad i bought it. I would give it five stars anytime.

I bought this product in the Argos sale at half price,which was great value,the vacuum cleaner is very well built and because it is so light it is very easy to use,I have informed all of my family and friends about it and they are all having a look at buying one for themselves.

A very compact and light machine that is deceptively powerful for its size. The ergonomics of the machine are perfect in daily use but the extension tools are a little more fiddly. Overall a very nice machine that is extremely good at picking up dirt and a worthwhile investment giving excellent value for money.

This Vax is the best vacuum cleaner I've had. My last vacuum was a dyson. This vax is so light and has a great suction, there is only one thing I would change and thats the hose. It is too short.

Very light, easy to handle.Easy to empty and clean filters.Not many places it won't go because of it's shape.

Love it love it. This is the BEST small vacuum that I have had (and I have tried several). Light and easy to handle, very maneuverable. Even emptying is easy once you get the hang of it. My only slight complaint is that when using the extension hose the vacuum KEEPS on FALLING OVER which makes it difficult to use.

This is an excellent vacuum cleaner, lightweight and cleaning power are fantastic even better than the dyson it replaced, would recomend to anybody looking for a lightweight vacuum with great cleaning power.

I am delighted with the machine. Compared with my previous cleaner it is very light and has powerful suction. I was a bit concerned that being so light it might be a bit of a let down in practice but that was soon dispelled once I started using it. The acid test now is how whether it will continue to perform as well for some time but my instinct tells me it will. So far so good!

I have had dyson, but vax by far are more quiet and so much more powerful. I am so impressed I have got two of my employee's looking at buying one to. Vax service is so prompt, so helpful and I would recommend to everyone. One flat rate for fixing my accident was superb. Thank you Vax.

Great product - very light, well engineered and designed (in the UK too!). Didn't realise how dirty our carpets were until we bought this! Only slight criticism is that the tools are not stored particularly well, and the hose is not as long as it could be, but because it is so light this does not matter too much. Really like the integration of the features and the way it gets into spaces others can't go - oh and it takes up less room in the cupboard too. Even the colours look good (purple).

This vacuum has replaced my Dyson Ball and I love it. In comparison to the Dyson, it is light weight, compact and sucks like... well, I could be rude but let's keep this clean - its suction power is better then all the Dyson's I have owned or used.

And for the people that have made comments about the hose being too short, well they should have purchased the model with extra reach. Derrr!!!

Excellent. Main drawbacks are suction tube comes out the bottom of the hoover making it difficult to stretch to clean stairs and cable gets caught under dust holder. Otherwise excellent hoover.

Absolutely brilliant!!!!! Have serious problems arthritis and osteoporosis, this hoover makes it really easy to hoover all around home without too much difficulty. Great suction, so light, have had several Dyson machines, the Vax outshines it especially for folk with mobility problems and so easy to take apart to clean. Parts just seem to click in and out of place perfectly, well done Vax designers.

When you first get this out the box it is so light weight that I thought if would be useless however how wrong was I it was brilliant I had new carpets n it picked up all the fluff like a dream and the carpets in our bedrooms that hadn't been new it brought a very flattened pile almost back to new no joke you could see and feel the pile recovering from years of flatness amazing when it doesn't really way anything on the downside the vac is difficult to use on the stairs very awkward but overall a superb job done well done vac

I find it much easier to use than my old cylinder model and it is very easy to empty.

After vacuming my living room with another popular cyclone vacuum for 30 mins, I thought my long pile carpets were clean. We bought the Air2 because it was half the price of our older one which we believed was on its way out anyway. Also the older one was very heavy in comparison. I re-vacumed the living room one day after using the old one just to see if our suspicions were justified. To our horror, the vast amount of fine grey dust that the Air2 extracted was unbelievable - three quarters full of cement grey powder and fluff. What's more, the very low profile head of the Air2 allowed vacuming under the radiators and tables without having to use any seperate hose attachments.

Love this vacuum and set about ensuring all my carpets got the Air2 treatment.

Only niggly point is that the attachment storage on the vacuum isnt sturdy and they fall off readily. Not a major issue as I just keep them in the cupboard until i need them.

Highly recommend.

I have only used the machine once,we are moving from a bungalow to a house and bought it to use upstairs in the new house,its very light and the suction is as good as my Dyson,carpet seemed to be a bit brighter with the Vax though,

i think it is a brilliant machine. it gets right into edges & corners so there is not the need for the tools quite so often. the suction is a lot better than i thought it would be. i was suprised how a machine could be so good when it is so light. i would reccomend it to anyone.

Very impressed. Small size goes under furniture very well. Only issue we have had is that hair collects round the front beater bar.

Good design. Suction is excellent. Can't believe how light it is. It's very easy to empty.The only drawback is the hose it's a bit of a fiddle to pull it out so you can attach the tools, but once you have got used to it it's OK.

Machine is nice and light to carry. Good suction on surfaces. The only downside is that the bracket by the hose restricts the movement of the hose when using the accessories and makes it awkward to hoover anything above surface level.

Light in weight which makes it very easy to use only difficulty was trying to use hose&attachments on stairs ,found that the metal pipe extention too long ,a shorter pipe would make it much easier to use on the stairs.

Lovely lightweight machine,very easy to use and highly manouverable. My only criticism is the hose is not long enough when using the attachments and is restricted by a clamp/guide which is low down on the machine.If the hose came out from the top of the machine this would be perfect.

I am very pleased with my Vax Mach Air Pet upright cleaner. I find it very light, easy to operate, it goes right to the edge and under the radiators which is great! Fits into a small space in the cupboard. My only downside is that the cable could do with being longer.

Brilliant for sucking and very light - therefore ideal for someone with Arthritis.
The extension is not long enough to do my stairs all the way - although I only have 7 steps up to a half-way platform.At first I had to take the VAX up and put it on a step half way up which was not easy. But then I managed to connect it with my old Seba extension. Also not good to clean my window sill for the same reason. The 3 parts to clean stairs etc. keep falling off when I do the hoovering. It is therefore also not a good one to clean the car.
It is very good for pets hair.

I went out to buy a upright vacum cleaner. I came home with a VAX. For no particular reason other than it was there. Gosh I'm so glad I did. I have owned all manner of uprights but never the same brand twice.Now I guess all that has changed for in the first 3 days of ownership I had used it 5 times I love it! Its hammerhead shark approach to all those awkward areas in and around furniture has left me a changed person. Its a delight to use partly due to its no-nonsense design, build quality, labour saving features and it's light weight. The position of the wheels at the rear ensure it can turn on a sixpence. I could go on. The packaging says the lightest vac in the world, I think it's possibly the best vac in the world. I will definately buy another Vax in time. But then again maybe I won't need to!

My Vax is very good and with having 2 dogs it picks up the pet hair better than my last vacuum. It has more suction power than I thought it would. I cannot fault this Vax.

Very easy to use,light but powerful,I have pets and also live on a working farm so lots of 'muck'and it sucks everything up. I have two problems with it.It needs a longer flex I have to keep changing the plug socket, and it would also be great if it had a longer hose,I have to balance it on the stairs as it will only reach halfway.

Having recently been involved in a road traffic accident and suffered injuries to my spine the vax was purchased due to it being lightwight. It is perfect and I am able to do a limited amount of vacuuming

Tried it out yesterday for the first time. Couldn't believe how light it was compared to previous cleaner - so much easier to manoeuvre, and excellent pick up of dust, fluff, pet hairs etc. Not the biggest of dust containers, but very easy to empty.
Overall very impressed so far.

Great, everything i've always wanted in a vacum cleaner and ive had a few in the past, but never as good as this.I fully recommend it.

The Vacuum cleaner is very powerfull and for it's 1200 watt motor size and picks up more than our previous make what was 2200 watt so great energy saving. The flexable hose is not too easy to use on the stairs as the attachment come handle is too long. Also there is no on board storage for the pet hair tool. All in all it's a very good cleaner. The only thing what could go wrong is the plastic hinge on the cylone base to empty the chamber it looks a little fragile and because of it's design naturally seems to strain the hinge when opened.
But the lightness of this vacuum make it very easy to use.
So far we are very pleased with the product.

Very light and very powerful. Picks up the cats' hairs very well but it is ungainly when using the hose with the attachments.

Have changed from a Dyson to this Vax machine. It is very lightweight and easy to clean the stairs and in awkward corners. It has powerful suction and has brought my carpet pile up like new. Although the dust container is smaller than on the Dyson I have not found this a problem and it is very easy to empty and pop back onto the machine. The extended warranty is a very good feature as it gives peace of mind for 6 years.

I purchased this vax because I have two dogs and am everlasting trying to pick up the hairs on the floors and carpets this vax is amazing for that the suction is powerfull the vax is light so it can be carried around the only fault I could find is that when you use the flexi pipe for cleaning the stairs ect.the pipe is under strain when useing the attachments I do think the attachment pipe would be easier at the top like the vax vx1 which I had before

I was only thinking this morning how wonderful the Vax is. It is light so I'm able to carry it upstairs easily and it picks up everything so easily and with very little effort- reaches all corners and edges perfectly. So easy to empty too.I purchased mine and when my son saw the results in his flat he bought it from me so I had to purchased another 2 days later. How's that for a recommendation?

Excellent lightweight machine. Only problem is when using on thin PVC covered floors (Linoleum in the old days)suction is so good dust bar sticks to PVC sheet and cannot be moved. Have devised a simple add on 1 millimetre floor spacer to dust bar which lifts it off floor 1 mm. works OK then. Wondered if you had any suggestions regarding this problem. OK on all other surfaces. Great vacuum cleaner and extremely light weight which for a light weight female is a huge boost. I now no longer need the assistance of a Russian shotputter to lift the cleaner up the stairs. Would definately recommend especially to non shotputting households

Superb lightweight machine, which is extremely powerful and easy to manouvre in tight places.

Good points: Strong suction. Excellent light weight. Tool attachments very good. 6 year guarantee looks good.

Other points: Hose not long enough. Difficult to use on stairs etc.
Hose difficult to extend through plastic bracket and may get damaged. Mains lead could be longer.

This was purchased as a replacement for a Dyson cleaner and would beat it if not for the hose and mains lead problems. Hopefully the free 6 year guarantee covers the hose.

Excellent suction, great for dog hairs, which is what I wanted. The only downside is; whilst using the hose on the stairs the vacuum tends to topple over, but I can cope with that. Overall a great purchase and have recommended to a friend.

Looking for a new hoover I saw your U91-MA-P Mach air pet and was amazed at the weight of 4.9 kilos.I have never bought a Vax product before but decided to give it a try. I can say that I am delighted with the hoover and would recomend it to any one.

Bought this from Currys. Absolutely loving it. You get 200 air watts while it only takes 1200 of your mains power. Awesome suction for home use. Is light and easily gets under the bed too. The only real downside is the length of the hose. It so short that you can not reach much. There are 3 model in this series. 2 of which are absolutely same U91-MA-B and U91-MA-P. The only difference is that U91-MA-P has a power tool for pet hair. Which you can buy separately if really need it and VAX claims that U91-MA-P has antibacterial filter. I checked myself and actually they both have 2 filters :D. So this claim was a bit funny:). And one more difference is the colour. One comes in orange and another one is in maroon. As mentioned there is another one in the series. It is U90-MA-R which is also in different colour (violet). This one would be probably the best for your home/flat as is as good as previous two. Has same features + it comes with eeeextra long lead and hose. If you can afford it go for it. And forget about Dyson crazy priced hoovers.

Very happy with our purchase, the ability to switch off/on the beater is very handy and should mean that replacement beaters will be required less frequently compared with other manufacturers. The suction is as good if not better that our other 2100 power model not a vax.

So far the cleaner has lived up to the good vax name, however, the extension hose needs to be longer as it is very short so you end up having to cary the main base with you. Saying that it is light enough to be able to manage, but I feel the design could be adjusted to aid this. It does have a good pick up power and definitely cleans the carpets better than my last Hoover.

Very pleased with Mach Air Pet we replaced a Dyson and this hoover is much lighter and appears to be more powerful and was good value for money.

The machine is great but there does not seem to be an area on/in the machine where I can store the additional tools that has been provided.

WE have found the Vax vacuum very easy and efficient to use. We have a dog and find the lift of hair very good. It is light and portable about the house. A good buy.

I was searching for a vacumn cleaner that was light and effective. I read the reviews regarding this cleaner and decided, as all points stated were exactly what I wanted,went ahead and bought one. I am so pleased I did. Cleaning is much easier and nearly enjoyable!! It is nifty, light, super for reaching under furniture and easy to handle. The instructions were simple to understand.

Great upright hoover, very lightweight and compact with good suction power and great cleaning on all type of surfaces love it, the only downsides to this hoover is the lenght power cable and a very short hoover hose for us with the accessories very hard to reach things without the hoover falling over apart from that great hoover.

Lightweight and powerful vacuum cleaner, its amazing how much it collects. Power attachment excellent.

Negatives: Handle moves whilst in use. Holes clog up, even after a single use and dust accumulates around top of container so has to be taken apart each time. Hose awkward having to bend down to use it, and a litte too short. Also main cable not long enough.

Still an excellent machine and would recommend it.

The machine is compact, lightweight and easy to use. It seems to be very effective on carpets and on hard floors. The slimness of the brush head allows it to get under some furniture easily.

The main reason for purchasing the cleaner is that my wife suffers from ME and found our previous make, (D****), was far too heavy for her to manage. This one is less then half the weight!

We have not had chance to use all the tools yet, so in fairness we are rating it 4.5 stars out of 5, on our use of it so far!

Lightness of weight is a real plus on this machine, noticed especially when moving from room to room and carrying upstairs. The beating action is excellent for picking up pet hairs, and the similar small turbo attachment is very useful on stairs. The container can be removed in seconds for dirt disposal, although it's fairly small capacity means this is sometimes frequent . For the smaller house and someone on their own this is an excellent machine and by registering it within 28 days of purchase,the 6-year Vax guarantee makes it excellent value .

This is excellent for removing pet hair from carpets etc and it really brings the pile back up.It is really powerfull but extremely light and easy to use.The only down side is the tools attaching to the flexible tube should have a locking device so they do not come adrift also because it is so powerful in picking up dust,hair etc emptying the container would not be suitable for anyone with a dust etc allergy.I would certainly recommend this model and I am very happy with it.

I love it! So light to use - I almost enjoy cleaning now. It fits underneath the radiators and other furniture - great!

The only small criticism I do have is that the hose is not long enough for the stairs. Otherwise, I am more than pleased.

Product is brilliant to use, light and easy to hande, especially for me, I have very bad arthritis. I particularly like the ease of emptying the cylinder after use. I have had various cleaners over the years, but have never had a cleaner that had such ease and freedom from 'fiddling' catches etc, when emptying the cleaner.

If I have one 'small' problem, it is that the handle does seem a little loose from the body of the maching, but I stress it is minor.

I am totally in love with my new vacuum cleaner. It is very easy to operate and zips round corners and under furniture with so little effort. It is truly lightweight and carrying it upstairs is a breeze.

I am very happy with this product. It is very powerful, the motorbrush is brilliant for the carpet and it picked up so much dirt and hair on my first use that my previous vacuum cleaner had obviously left behind!

This is quite simply the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had.
As a cat lover I have been plagued with cat hairs all over my
carpets and all previous cleaners have failed to tackle the problem,
but not this one.It cut a swaith through the hairs, leaving a very
clean carpet. The small turbo brush worked wonders where the main
cleaner couldn't reach and the other attachments worked well too.

Unlike the other cleaners I've had, it doesn't loose it's suction,
nor does it spew dust back into the room when you use it, which as
I am allergic to house dust mite is a great boon.

It also very easy to empty.

I now look forward to doing the vacuuming, Thank you for a superb

Absolutely love the vax. It is very lightweight a lovely change from the dyson I had before. My carpets look very clean and judging by the amount of dust and pet hair collected the machine does the job well.
Very easy to use, only negative is that the cord is not as long as my previous machine but not really a problem.

Very pleased with it- light to use although using the attachments pulling out the hose isn't easy until I got used to it. good suction but the cable isn't as long as the Dyson so annoying that have to keep changing the plugin socket. Easy to empty the dust box. all in all very much better than my Dyson.

This is hoover is the best hoover I've ever owned, its lightweight even lighter than the dyson ball animal DC 25 which I purchased first and had to sell as was too heavy. I have RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) in my arms/hands so this hoover is very good. Its amazing the amount of dirt it picks up from carpet, easy to empty, I have a small dog that malts alot and it picks up dog hair easily. You can take plastic cover(see through so you can tell when needs doing) off brush to get hairs off simply. I search online for best price and found Amazon was best this hoover also has 6 year warranty you must register with site before 28 days is up. Bit gutted 2months down the line Argos have it on offer

Absolutely fabulous suction and design, very comfortable to use the only minor problem is that the electric cable is not quite long enough.

Very light, easy to manouvre and empty. The on board tools are useful and easy to fit.So far very pleased with the results the options for the brush head is very useful and effective, not sure about the Turbo tool yet and we found the operation to lowere the handle a bit stiff and caused worry over possible breakage.

the best vacum cleaner we have ever owned. We have previously had Dysons, but the Vax leaves it in the shade .

Initially, I didn't consider this product due to its size, however I am really pleased that I did. The weight was a key driver in choosing my next vac and this product is much lighter than my previous Dyson yet delivers excellent suction power - and certainly a match for my previous Dyson.

The ability to switch off the brushes when not needed is a bonus and I was really pleased with the separate pet tool, which for me is a must for any pet owner. The flexible hose could do with being a little longer, but I guess there are limitations when considering the size of the product.

The dust bin is simple to empty although on occasions excess dust gets trapped higher up, requiring the removal of the top and inner unit to remove it.

Overall, I would not hesitate in recommending this product and when you consider its price vs the competitors along with its 6 year guarantee, there's only one option!

Bought this vacuum to help my wife as she suffers with a bad back,went on the premise that this was advirtised as the worlds lightest vacuum cleaner in its class,indeed it is light,and it sucks like no other.

A very good machine,however,the flexible hose is to short and is tricky to attach to main steel hose,and the supply cable is to short,could do with being two metres longer,but again it is an excellent machine and has excellent suction.steve cheeseman.

I am very pleased with this machine. It is light to carry around and easy to manoevre. It picks up pet hairs effortlessly and has great suction. I would definitely recommend it.

The only improvement I would suggest is a longer cord and hose in order to reach all the way upstairs but these are minor issues.

It's ok, small and easy to use. One drawback is when you need to use the extra pieces, i.e. the nozzle, it doesnt give you enough slack, especially when using the extension pole, but overall a good powerful vaccum.

I like the machine alot it picks up the cats fur brilliantly, and as i have differant types of flooring going from room to room is fantastic, instead of the two cleaners i did use i now only need the one. The only problem i have is with the hose i find it difficult to use with the containing ring at the bottom of the machine stopping me from getting the differant angles to clean the stairs properly so it might be worth looking into the ring to either put it higher up or allow the hose to be moved from it when in use.

Great vacuum... decided to buy a new vacuum cleaner after my last one broke - and on the recommendation of a friend decided to look at Vax.

I went for the pet hair model, as my girlfriend has long hair and I'm forever trying to get it out of the carpet.

The first time I use my new Vax, just a day afer a full clean with the old vacuum cleaner, it picked up a whole ball of hair (about the size of a golf ball).

Also slightly obsesses with seeing how much of my own filth it picks up :-)

Simply the best hoover i have ever owned(and i am 61).Very light to use and fantastic suction,one movement over the carpet and all dust and crumbs are gone,also low enough to get uder your three piece suit.Only two improvements could be made 1. A longer hose for getting up stairs 2.A longer connecting cord.Otherwise a briliant hoover,and also a very good turbo power tool attachment.

Excellent - we've had three Dysons but this is better, lighter,much better build quality and half the price.

I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a Dyson, as a better alternative.

This is an excellent machine, I have a boxer dog and run the vax around the lounge every morning. I am amazed each day at how much dust and dog hair it picks up from what looks like a reasonably clean carpet. It is also very light and so easy to empty. I would definately recommend this vacuum cleaner.

I was told about the suction power in this machine but had to use it for myself to believe it. Absolutely brilliant-lifts the carpet from the floor with the suction power it has. Extremely light,which is great for me as I have awful wrist problems but can use this with hardly any effort. The Vax does all the work-super clean carpets Wonderful!!

I have used Dyson and Henry cleaners in the past, but found that they did not collect dog hair and they were so heavy that they hurt my back every time I cleaned the carpets. It got to the stage where I put off hoovering because I knew that I would suffer pain afterwards for a few days. I love the Vax Mach Air 2, it is the best machine I have ever used for picking up pet fur and I no longer suffer with back, neck or shoulder pain following my carpet cleaning!! I love it, love it, love it. Thank you for providing pain free hoovering.

The Mach Air 2, is fantastically light weight and perfect for anyone with disabilities which normally makes using an average weight vacuum cleaner impossible. Being light weight doesn't mean that the performance is any less either, I couldn't believe the amount of dust it picked up the first time I used it, and continue to be amazed. I'm so pleased with the vacuum cleaner I've suggested my parents save their pension to buy one as well.

Very pleased indeed with this vacuum cleaner. Compact but with the power of a full size machine. I've been using a Dyson previously and this is an improvement. Only minor criticism is the length of the lead which could be longer aand also if the lead could retract into the machine then this would be better.

Nice and lightweight, good suction easy to use. Makes cleaning the stairs easier, great for cleaning out the car. Only down side is cable should be longer.

I am really pleased with this vacuum so far. It is light, easy to use, has a lovely long flex and takes up very little space in the cupboard. Whats more it leaves my carpets looking great and my husband likes using it as well!

When I got my new Vax Mach Air, I had only just vacuumed my rug an hour earlier, but you should have seen the dust that came out of it....I was soooo embarrassed! lol!

I did initialy think that there was no chance that this hoover was going to have much power and suction as it's just too light - how wrong I was!! It's amazing!

I have a back problem and this is the BEST vacuum cleaner I have ever owned, it's a dream to use (if you can call any vacuum a dream!!) It is very simple to use, it can be switched from carpets to hard floors at the push of a button and it has an adjustable handle height which is fantastic - no more stooping!
I have had 3 Dysons in the past and I'm a definite convert to Vax now!

To top it all off, they offer a 6 year guarantee....you can't say fairer than that! I only had one complaint, that it that the hose isn't long enough to go to the top of the stairs, this doesn't affect me as I have a landing half way up, but it could hinder some people.

I'm used to Dyson and cylinder!!
I was very dubious that the Mach Air could be 5kg (the weight of 5 bags of sugar) and still give me the performance I was looking for.
BUT
I was wrong, it is so light but it certainly does the job it's supposed to.
It works great on both carpet and hard floors at the press of a button and is light enough not to scratch the wood surfaces which is a bonus.
It features an led light that lets you know if there's a blockage, I haven't had this light come on yet but think it's a good feature.
It is also quite a bit quieter than other vacumns I have used.
Its handle can be adjusted to 8 different heights.
The 3-in-1 crevice tool, dusting brush and upholstery tool are stored on board for easy access and are attached to the handle via a hose, it's all compact and so easy to set up..
If I can do it anyone can ;)
And on top of this it comes with a 6 year gaurantee.
The only thing that could be seen as a downside is the fact there's no cord retraction button you have to wind it up by hand but all in all the rest of the machine more than makes up for this.

Here I have a review that I have felt compelled to write regarding a household vacuum that I believe, to be the best currently available, for anyone in the need for an effecient yet lightweight cleaner! I consider this cleaner to tick all the right boxes in my opinion. I feel this way as I have used this cleaner with total satisfaction. Firstly this machine is very attractive in appearance, which is a good start. Also the machine is very light, and can be easily lifted with one hand without straining yourself. This cleaner also produces amazing suction power I was pleasantly surprised. The cleaner has lovely edge to edge cleaning, not always the case with larger models. The quiet operation too is surprising for such a powerful motor! The handle is adjustable to eight different heights. The cleaner is also accompanied with a useful little crevice tool. I used this for stair cleaning, and it was perfect. Being only 4.9kg, I was able to balance on my stairs with absolute ease. One little feature I really like is the separate button you have to press to allow brush to rotate, a great safety feature! I can"t really praise this cleaner enough. I have really enjoyed using this vacuum, thank-you "Vax" for the ultimate Hepa cyclonic cleaner!! However remember the dust container is compact and does need to be emptied regularly.

The Mach AIR U91-MA-B from VAX is a smart and sleek vacuum cleaner, looking quite stylish in the familiar VAX orange and contrasting grey. It is also very lightweight and easy to lift and manoeuvre which would make it ideal for people who have trouble with some of the heavier cleaners.

The Mach Air arrived in a big box and the cleaner came with the main drum and cleaner part separate from the handle attachment. It was incredibly easy to fit the two bits together and I did so without having to consult the instructions. However if you do need them, the instructions are very easy to follow as they are in pictorial form.

Once you have assembled your Mach Air it is very easy to start using. There is a conveniently placed on/off switch and there is a foot operated control in order to tilt the cleaner thus making it easier to manoeuvre as you are using it. There is also another switch directly next to the on/off switch is for operating the brushbar which gives you the choice whether to use this or not depending on how much suction you need.

Apparently the Mach Air weighs a third lighter than equivalent full size machines which really does give it an advantage in terms of usage. Pretty much anyone can use this cleaner particularly as the retractable handle can be adjusted to eight different heights. Even my six year old daughter who is very keen to help around the house and I've no intention of discouraging, can manoeuvre the Mach Air very easily! Also. As it is so light, it is very easy to carry up and down stairs.

The suction and cleaning power is great and I have used it on a multitude of surfaces in my home. Each time I have been really pleased with the results. Also, because the base of the cleaner is quite thin and streamlined I do find that I am able to push it further under narrow gaps, such as the sofas or TV units, than I was able to do with my old cleaner. Also, because of its light weight, it's very easy to change direction, especially when going round corners.

The hose attachment works very well for cleaning stairs, upholstery or tricky corners, although I don't really like the design for how this works. You need to detach the hose from the bottom of the cleaner and then pull it out as far as possible in order to use. There is a clip quite low down that keeps it in place but because of this you are pulling it up from quite a low angle. For me, because of this, it was virtually impossible to use just the hose attachment on its own which is one suggestion. However, if I detach the handle and use that as an extension tube I found that so much better and workable. It is only a small gripe, but I do wish that it was possible to remove the hose from that low clip in order to provide a better angle for using the attachment.

When using the hose attachment there is a great little three in one tool that you can place on the end of the hose either providing a brush or different size nozzles. These all fit together so that there's no worry about losing any one bit when you are not using it. I think this is very handy and quite ingenious!

The Air Mach has a reasonably long power lead although I would prefer it to be just that little bit longer. It also has an easy way to wind the lead up and keep it tidy when it is not in use. When you want to use it again, rather than having to rewind the flex, the top holder easily swivels downwards in order to release it.

The cleaner is one that does not use bags and as the dirt container is clear plastic it is easy to tell when it needs emptying. I think that it is best to empty it before it gets to full in order to get the best cleaning results. Emptying the dirt container is incredibly easy and all you have to do is to press one small catch in order to detach it from the rest of the cleaner and then another catch in order to open the hinged section at the bottom in order to empty straight into your bin.

In the instruction booklet there are good directions for cleaning the filters and removing blockages. It is probably a good thing to pay attention to these because, as experience has previously shown me, if you don't regularly maintain your cleaner it will not work so well.

I really like the Mach Air for its effective cleaner and its manoeuvrability. I think that it's a great cleaner that is likely to suit virtually everyone.

I was given the Vax Mach Air to try and after using it several times, I can confidently declare that this is the best vacuum cleaner that I have ever used. The reason why I like it so much is because I found that the Mach Air is very lightweight, easy to use and extremely powerful. This product has really put my old upright vacuum to shame in many respects. Firstly, the Mach Air's cyclone technology significantly vacuumed a great deal more dust very quickly and very effectively. In fact, I was actually took a moment to marvel at its suctioning power, because the Mach Air vacuumed up such a large amount of dust and hair over a small area of carpet. I do take pride in my home and so I do vacuum my floors regularly, but I have to say that my carpets actually looked much cleaner and in better condition as a result of using the Mach Air!

One of the features that I like about the Mach Air is the brush-bar, which is specifically used for carpet vacuuming. These bristles are very strong and they rotate extremely fast when in use. I found that the brush-bar picks up hair really quickly and easily, which is a really important requirement for me. I recently have been looking after a beautiful mongrel dog for a friend of mine and I found that the brush-bar is excellent in removing all of those annoying dog hairs on my sofa and carpets. I think there will be many pet owners who would really benefit from using this product too. I found that the brush-bar was really easy to access, when I needed to remove the excess hair that had wound up on the sides of the brushes. I found that the LED indicator is quite a helpful feature too. There is an LED light that turns green when the brush-bar is in use. The light will only turn red, if the vacuum detects any blockages. By the press of a button, you can prevent the brush-bar from being used when you want to vaccum hard and laminate floors. This serves to prevent any possible damage to hard floors. As I have carpet throughout the whole of my house, I was not able to test the vacuum out on hard and laminate flooring. As a result I cannot personally comment on the Mach Air's performance in this area.

For me, the Mach Air is actually the lightest vacuum cleaner that I have ever used. As a result, I feel that the lightweight nature of Mach Air is the reason why it took me less time and energy to vacuum clean the whole of my house compared with my old upright vacuum. Also I feel that the Mach Air is less noisy than my previous machine. (I wouldn't go as far to say that it is a quiet machine though). I therefore found that it was easy for me to carry the Mach Air from room to room, because of its lightweight nature, but I did find it awkward to use on the stairs. I was not able to benefit from using the brush-bar when vacuuming the stairs. I needed to detach the hose from the main vacuum and attach the hose to the vacuum handle in order for me to do the stairs. I have to say that I did miss not being able to use the brush-bar on this occasion, because I believe it really does make a difference in terms of the Mach Air's performance. On reflection, I think I would benefit from buying the TurboTool accessory, which Vax describe on their website as an "air driven tool for dry vacuuming stairs, upholstery, car interiors and picking up pet hair". I think it would certainly be worth my while to purchase this accessory, because it would make doing the stairs an easier and more efficient task. It's worth pointing out that the Mach Air does include a 3-in-1 crevice tool. I found that the crevice tool attaches very easily and securely to the vacuum handle and I have used it to vacuum the dust from my curtains. I am quite happy with this free accessory, but I do plan purchase the TurboTool also for the reasons that I have already described.

Apart from the stair situation, I found that the Mach Air is really comfortable to use. I can adjust the height of the vacuum handle really easily to get the height that I require. I am 5'3 and I felt very comfortable manouevring the Mach Air about. My partner also tried it out and he is 5'10. He felt very comfortable in using it as well. Furthermore, I found that it is really easy to remove the central vacuum container whenever I need to empty the dust into the bin. This container itself is sturdy but light and slots securely in and out of position as when required.
I think that the Mach Air is aesthetically pleasing to the eye - it's got quite a funky design in my opinion. It is easier to store the Mach Air away, because of its smaller proportions. I also like the fact that the 3-in-1 crevice tool can be discreetly and conveniently slotted at the rear of the vacuum.

Overall, the Mach Air really does successfully go above and beyond all of the major requirements that I have for vacuum cleaning. As I was using it, I was thinking, "Where have you been all my life?". The Mach Air really is the answer to my vacuum cleaning prayers!

There is only one minor niggle the little clip that secures the cord to its self is too stiff. Otherwise an excelent little vac which is quite powerful.

Bought this due to the positive reviews and was not dissapointed. Have had Vax before but this is a very light hoover with plenty of suction. Alarmed by the amount of dirt that it picked up. The tools seem to be in an awkward position and the hose not as flexible as it could be (especially when using the hoover for upholstery). Great hoover and even my 16 year old enjoys using it!!!

Fantastic hoover . Very light weight but so powerful. I have 2 dogs and a cat so pet hair is a real problem for most hoovers. Not for this little guy though. Would definately recommend to all pet owners. Easy to use and empty!
