I LOVE my VAX. It's so much better than my old Hoover!!! Its lightweight so i have no problems taking it upstairs with my bad back. fantastic attatchments and really good suction. It was fantastic value for money and its nice and small so easy to store.

Good suction. Very difficult to undo the cylinder to empty and very messy to clean filter,even very hard to try and put back together again,I have to ask my husband to do it every time.He gets angry and says it's bad design. Good length lead.

Seems to sometimes blow hairs/dust away from itself and I have to try to catch it.
When I press the button to start using it, bits come out the bottom onto the floor which I have to clear up again. Bargain price.

I am really pleased with my new vacuum cleaner, it picks up extremely well.

Great appliance. Really cleans what others vacuums did not. Donwside is cleaning the filter and dust compartment. You have to put your hands on the dirty if you want to clean the filter. Perhaps they could come up with a better system.

Good vacuum cleaner, the only thing I can find wrong upto now is that its to light, keeps falling over when using the hose.

Carpets have not looked so clean. Strong suction, easy to use and manouvre. Excellent.

Up to now the vacuum seems fine but then they all do in the beginning. May be a review in a years time would be a better indicator of how its worked out.

very good powerfull vaccum cleaner.I have a dog that moats terribly and amazed at how much hair this machine picks up. Also good that you have a choice of floor types.

Very powerful motor wich gives the machine a good suction. Accessories are good and overall design is great. A good machine to clean the house and car with.

After having used the Vax cylinder {orange] for a number i decided to buy the new upright Vax at a good price and on the two large rugs i have it made them look like new again so, easy to use and very easy to use on the stairs only one issue the handle is very smooth and can feel a bit slippery to lift up but over all a very good buy.

The hoover is excellent! not only great value for mony but it does as it says and picks up pet hairs better than my previous purchase which cost double. will not hesitate to buy a vax hoover in the future.

Hi its good the only thing is the side draft when hoovering tends to blow hair up from floor when on hard tiles only answer is use the hose rather than brush thats all I can say about hoover does a good job

The Power Pet 2 is excellent, the best hoover i've ever brought, i brought 4 hoovers in 6 months but all lost suction, this one hasnt and the handy nozzles and brushes that come with it i use alot, they come in realy handy, well worth the money.

What a brilliant hoover, I have never owned an upright before but will certainly buy them now.

Very powerful suction, if a little noisy. However it does the job well and very satisfied with purchase so far.

I find that the air flow from the Vax isn't as good as the previous one that I've got. The problem I've found is that the air is comimg out sideways and when going past the woodburner,coffee table or any other low unit, it blows the ash and papers all over the place, against the old one. Apart from this, I find it very good with being a bit smaller and is easier to push. I don't think the suction is as good as the other one but not far off. My nephew has purchased one as well and his wife is pleased with its performance.

I no longer dread having to do the vacuuming, its done in half the time, especially the dogs' bed. However it could be a little quieter

This is an excellent machine.as it says on the box it does everything that you want it to do and more! If you have got pets I would suggest that you seriously consider this machine for nice clean and tidy floors.

Excellent cleaner. Picks up pet hair with ease. I have always bought cylinder cleaners in the past but changed this time to an upright which is so much easier to use. Also easy to use on the stairs with the special hose and adapter.

This is my second vax i had my first 7yrs i then got a hoover after a year i went back to vax. this model is a lot lighter than my old one and more powerfull tools are easy to use and very good at cleaning our dogs hair off the carpets would recomend this to any pet owners.also a lot better with proper fixed wheels at back as my other machine failed after 7 yrs becauce the sofa type wheels broke but all in all the new one is very good

Good value cleaner, a bit loud but nothing to worry about, after seeing other peoples feed-back i expected it to be very loud. Excellent product, very powerful, lifts the carpet at times, hand held the best attachment ever. If any criticism it is a little noisy ( less of a problem for me as I live alone and am getting on a bit and is also a bit heavy for carrying upstairs. Extremely good value for money

Great Vax, after putting the carpet back down. Wish there was a bigger choice of carpet heights on the Vax. I seem to use the hard choice the most. Otherwise a great piece of equipment. Good value for the price I paid. Now need to get some spare filters.

Firstly find macine very noisy, suction is very good. Have great difficulty in relocating dirt cylinder to main body of vacum after cleaning. Cleaning filter without washing is not very satisfactory. Apart from these points find vacuum very good.

What a fantastic machine, nearly sucks the carpets off the floor. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent and easy to use, much better than a Dyson!

We have a cat, and i'm very happy with my new vax, it picks up cat hairs brilliantly. The only thing i would say lets it down is the adjustment to make it go lower or higher, it does not seem to work very well, but having said that i'm still happy with its perfomance.

Hi, yes I am very pleased with my new Vax. The suction and the turbo tool are brilliant. There is just one little adjustment needed in my opinion and that is a rubber guard all around the bottom of the cleaner to protect furniture and the cleaner itself. What is really good too is the 10metre cable length as I haven't got to keep unplugging when going from room to room. Regards, Denise

I have used this cleaner and found it very efficient, I have four dogs and it does get all the dog hairs out of the carpets.

This is the best cleaner I have ever brought, it picks up 'sock' fluff that my hoover and panasonic cleaner would not pick up, plus my carpets look like new! 10 out of 10.

Hi happy with the hoover but the hose is so short that you need to wheel the hoover around with you as it does'nt streach more that about 1.5 meters without a fight. the brush levels are either to high or to low.

Super suction. Nearly pulled arm out of socket when vacuuming but have to do it on short carpet setting or else not very good, best to use extention tool for laminate floors as vax blows everything around the room instead of picking it up!! Deep, deep cleans the the carpets though.
