How to Clean Carpet on Stairs
A carpet cleaner for stairs is an essential, particularly given how frequently it's used each day. Rather than struggling with cleaning stair carpet by hand, we design and engineer carpet cleaning products to make it easier to restore and renew your stairs.
So, how to clean carpet on stairs? Depending on your stair carpet cleaner, whether it’s a VAX Spot Cleaner or a larger machine, we can guide you through exactly what you need to do.
If you have a spot washer e.g. our best seller the VAX SpotWash Max Pet-Design & Car , we recommend the following procedure:
- • Always test on a small, hidden area before use, and use only with a VAX Spot Cleaner Solution . For best results, vacuum your carpet beforehand. Please refer to the user guide for all safety instructions.
- • Fill the tank with warm water and solution followed by fitting your desired tool / attachment.
- • Take the mini carpet shampooer for stairs to the staircase, then press the trigger on the hose to release the water and solution. Agitate any tough stains, then pull back to extract the water and solution.
- • Dry vacuum your carpet before using the machine to prepare the surface thoroughly. Test the machine on a small area first to avoid any damage or pile distortion. Comprehensive safety guidelines can be found in the product user guide.
- • Begin by filling the solution tank, then proceed to fill the clean water tank and the pretreatment solution tank.
- • Ensure the carpet cleaner with stair attachment is in an upright position before using your 2-in-1 Antimicrobial tool, ideal for reaching into crevices. Hold the trigger down as you move forward to release water and solution, then release it on the backward stroke to pick up the water and solution. /p>
