VAX MAXClean Stainshot Pet Carpet Cleaner

I bought this product recently ro help with the impacts of having a very elderly dog. The Vax has been incredible, so much better than our old(not Vax) machine. I thoroughly reccomend it

The carpet cleaner itself performed very well. I could take or leave the convenience features such as the automatic wash/dry switching on pushing/pulling the cleaner (it wasn't really that difficult to pull the trigger on our previous model), but the cleaner dispensed the fluid as expected and did an impressive job of sucking it up again, leaving the carpet much drier than I expected and saving the hours of tiptoeing around the rug which we're used to. The Stainshot feature left me wondering if it wouldn't be quicker to simply spray the fluid on to the affected area by hand (which would be more accurate) then use the cleaner to dry afterwards since it requires extra washing/drying of the Stainshot container, but maybe for larger areas it would prove handy. The hose attachment with the circulating brush saved some manual agitation but I can't say how much of a difference it made when it came to removing the grime on our stairs. This model requires more cleaning that our previous model as there are more parts to disassemble after use. But in fairness it is easy to get the parts clean, whereas our old one would accumulate dirt in places that weren't easy to access. Unfortunately it's hampered by the fact that stain removal fluids still have their limitations. Dried in tea and tomato stains still don't fully remove even after several passes, although they're certainly a lot less visible. Hopefully some day they'll be able to handle the stubborn

fab! It's refreshed my carpets, rugs and made my dining chairs look brand new!

Although there was nothing wrong with my vax shampooer I decided to get this updated version this is so much easier and better than my previous one it cleans carpet even better and it’s so much easier to to clean machine after use didn’t really think vax could improve the model but they have so pleased with it

Great machine. My first carpet cleaner and eventhough is hoovered twice, beforehand, couldn't believe how much hair was in the dirty water.
