How to Use a Vax Carpet Cleaner
Most of our carpet cleaners follow the same procedure, unless they are part of the SmartWash range, where the machine automatically washes when pushed forward and dries when pulling back. How Do You Clean Wool Carpet?
Before beginning any cleaning process, check to see if your solution has the WoolSafe logo. Use as directed, in combination with your machine, and your wool carpet will be free from harm.
Can You Use Bleach on Carpet?
Whilst some carpets are branded as ‘bleach-friendly’, such chemicals can result in permanent damage and corrosion to the fibres. It is therefore strongly recommended to avoid the need for bleach, if possible, to preserve the condition of your carpet.
Can You Use a Vax Carpet Cleaner on Hard Floor?
Should you decide to make multipurpose use of our carpet cleaners, we cannot guarantee an idealistic outcome, as they are not hard floor cleaners by design. Carpet cleaners use a significant amount of water to achieve a thorough deep clean, which is compatible with carpet due to the fibre’s ability to absorb water. Whilst you may attempt to use the machines and accompanying tools on hard floor, they are much better suited to carpets.
Can You Use a Carpet Cleaner on a Couch?
Yes, but only if the carpet and upholstery machine you have is equipped with the ‘above the floor’ cleaning hose and tools. Your couch’s label should provide direction on maintenance. If there is a 'W' or 'WS' on the label, you can count on a Vax Carpet Cleaning Solution to be best suited for the job. If in doubt, double-check the information with the manufacturer or resort to a colour fastness test in one area of the coach.
How to Remove Brushes From a Vax Carpet Cleaner
The floorhead nozzle, together with the brush bars of the machine, can be removed. Refer to the User Guide for detailed instructions on individual products.
